Class Description:

In this Word 2010 hands-on computer class, you will learn the new backstage feature, which replaces the old office button in Word 2007. You will learn how to use the screen capture to create screen shots without third party software. You will learn how you can make your tasks easier and faster with the Ribbon, contextual tabs, galleries and live preview. You will learn how to apply styles and add building blocks in creating letters agreements, and pleading forms. You will learn how to insert headers and footers; insert dates and numbering; search and replace within a document; create envelopes and labels; and the use of shortcut keys.

Parking validation is available for the County of Sacramento two-story parking structure; entrance on G Street & 7th. Bring your parking receipt and we will validate for time spent in this class.

Course Description:

This course addresses the new features found in Microsoft Word 2010. You will learn how to create a document, manage files, format text and use text enhancements, use document layout features, insert graphic elements, add headers and footers, insert dates and numbering, apply styles, search and replace within a document, and more for legal documents and forms.
