As a new resource, the Law Library is offering a video conferencing “Webinar” for Judge David I. Brown’s presentation: Evidentiary Issues in Law & Motion on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Judge Brown will cover:
“Motions present evidence for the Court to consider. How to present that evidence, and making sure that the Court will consider, should be among the practitioner's primary concerns in crafting his/her motions. This lecture will address various motions, evidentiary issues and requirements, and best practices.”
The webinar will be broadcasted via Portable Video Conferencing (WebEx) hosted by Esquire Deposition Solutions. Once you have registered to attend via WEBINAR you will be contacted by Allie Steinmuller, the Regional Litigation Consultant for Esquire, to provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to validate your internet connection speed to gain access to the seminar and how to log on using a meeting number and password.
All handouts and supplemental materials will be emailed to you prior to the start time of the event.
Note: only registered webinar attendees who have logged into the webinar and stayed connected throughout the event will receive continuing legal education credit.
At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance, Evaluation Form, and a short questionnaire regarding functionality of the online access system.
