In this presentation, you will learn how to better prepare your client using a third-party intercessor whose duty it is to control the process with objectivity so that the necessary information submitted by the parties can be reviewed to assist with a reasoned and supportable decision.

Mr. Nielsen with provide scenarios of adversarial settings which may deal with managing attorney advocates and the boundaries of confidentiality. He will also focus on potential conflicts of dual representation, providing legal advice, drafting mediation agreements, and other ethical dilemmas.

Course Description:

Mediation is a tool for healing conflict - resolution through understanding and cooperation rather than dispute. Like King Solomon, mediation expert Tom Nielsen will focus on developing a process to gain oversight and accountability for all concerned while working toward a lasting and equitable resolution.
