This class covers writing effective briefs and motions. We will explore a number of real briefs and motions and examine the techniques that make them work.
We will cover effective organizational structures and practices that improve clarity and brevity. Review ways of presenting facts persuasively, writing effective introductions and headings, and creating a table of contents that looks professional and advances your arguments. And, we will explore typography and formatting choices that improve the appearance of your work product.
