Ms. Prince began her practice in 1998 representing clients in civil litigation. That experience has made her a strong advocate for our clients. As a partner at Walter & Prince, Lisa represents employers in defense of OSHA citations and “serious and willful misconduct" claims. She works with employers, safety directors, risk managers, and human resources administrators to develop effective preventive safety programs that answer regulatory mandates. She is effective in creating working partnerships with our clients to identify and achieve realistic litigation goals.
Lisa is a dynamic and informative speaker on a wide range of topics related to workplace safety, weathering Cal/OSHA investigations and the Cal/OSHA appeals process. She has delivered presentations to organizations as various as State Compensation Insurance Fund, the American Society of Safety Engineers, HR Connections, AgSafe, the Sonoma County Employer Advisory Council, the National Safety Management Society and Associated General Contractors (AGC) San Diego. In 2011, Ms. Prince partnered with ESM Solutions and appeared in a video designed to educate employers about the effects of AB 2774 (a significant amendment to California Labor Code Section 6432).
She is co-author, with her partner, Fred Walter, of the “Workplace Safety" chapter of the California State Bar publication Advising California Employers and Employees.
