This presentation will cover a review of IRS tax resolution alternatives to include Installment Agreements, Currently Not Collectable Status, Offer in Compromise and Bankruptcy.

Topics will include, which type of tax resolution is best for your client and when to turn to bankruptcy protection for resolution of an IRS tax liability. An examination of IRS defined necessary living expenses will be covered.

Mr. Packey will discuss bankruptcy basics and review of bankruptcy petition. The pros and cons of bankruptcy as a tax resolution alternative and dealing with tax liens post-bankruptcy filing.

In conclusion, a critique of an IRS tax transcript to determine when or if the tax liability would be dischargeable in bankruptcy.
