Services provided: NeighborWorks is a HUD-certified housing counseling agency, providing free homeownership counseling, realty services, foreclosure prevention counseling, and affordable housing assistance. This organization also includes a legal assistance team that can answer questions about the consequences of a foreclosure, short sale, or deed-in-lieu.
Eligibility: You must submit an intake form, budget sheet, and other requested documents. After receiving your information, NeighborWorks will call to schedule an appointment.
